Today I’m posting to show the importance of modding your Skyrim. To put it simply without mods, it looks good, but compared to a setup of good mods it looks like shit.Below are screenshots I took of Skyrim completely un-modded on Ultra settings, under them is a similar screenshot I took fully modded. Overall there are 35 graphic mods active in these screenshots. Try to take note of all the extra details, you’ll be amazed.
I re-uploaded this with full sized pictures as the decreased sizes made it blurry.
Note: These Are 1080p screenshots, please click and allow all the detail to load.
I understand how the modded version looks nice and all, but I personally think the modded version is way too saturated for the land of Skyrim. Skyrim is a cold, harsh, and unforgiving land to many. A lot of the landscape is wintry tundra. For the most part, I couldn’t imagine Skyrim actually being so vibrant. It looks more like tropical paradise in the modded version. The muted colors suit it much better in my opinion.
